To celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, CIBC recently featured a number of community leaders as part of its “One for Change” campaign, highlighting the tremendous impact people have when they give back to their communities.
One of these individuals was Gavin Morrison, a spokesperson for the Foundation Fighting Blindness and participant in the National Young Leaders Program. You can read CIBC’s profile of Gavin by following the link below:
Gavin is an advocate for young people with disabilities and an ambassador who is committed to the Foundation Fighting Blindness. He’s also an exemplar of the commitment, endurance, and optimism shared by members of the National Young Leaders Program, which Gavin has been involved in since it launched. What Gavin shows—and what is reinforced by others involved in the Program—is that although vision loss is challenging, it is far from insurmountable when young people work together.
